Description
Description
*There are signs of use such as scratches, dirt, rust, and dents.
They respond faithfully to the player's footwork and accurately convey the nuances of the footwork. In the sense that they are operated by the performer through direct contact, the hi-hat stand and the drum pedal are both important pieces of equipment that play the exact same role.
The COBRA hi-hat stand was developed using the know-how cultivated through the development of drum pedals. The lever-glide system, which utilizes the principle of leverage, allows for tight, speedy action with a light touch, and the drive mechanism uses a strap for a noiseless design. It also offers a variety of adjustments to suit the player's preferences, including a spring seat for increased crispness when closing the hi-hat, footboard angle, and spring tension.
The 2017 model also features a new quick-set clutch that allows you to attach and detach cymbals with a single touch. This is a high-end TAMA hi-hat stand that has been successfully designed to be easy to set up and transport.

[Features]
Lever Glide: Lever Glide is an original TAMA mechanism that utilizes the principle of leverage to allow you to press down on the pedal with roughly half the force required with conventional pedals. In addition to significantly reducing the force required to press down on the pedal, the leverage action also extends the stroke of the footplate, allowing you to enjoy more subtle half-open sounds and sharper tight close-ups.
・Spring Seat: This cymbal bottom seat was designed to increase the sharpness of the hi-hat closing sound. By using the spring to slightly tilt the support that supports the bottom cymbal, the air that forms between the two cymbals when the hi-hat is closed is quickly released, producing a crisp sound.
・Non-Loosening Tension Rod: The non-loosening tension rod is made of a metal nut shaped like a mortar and fitted with a plastic nut, preventing the cymbal rod from loosening and making noise during performance.
Dual Leg: This dual-leg stand allows for smooth setup in limited space by reducing interference with cymbal stands and twin pedals. The stabilizer plate attached to the bottom of the frame absorbs force toward the player, and the two legs absorb forward force caused by pressing down on the footboard, providing excellent balance and outstanding stability.
Glide-Tite Grip Joint: This joint structure combines metal-to-metal fastening with a nylon bushing. By fastening the pipes and joints together, the stand becomes a solid, stable structure from the top to bottom pipes. This allows the cymbal to vibrate naturally on a more stable stand, maximizing the instrument's inherent potential.
Spare-The-Rods Tension Rod Protector: This rod protector features TAMA's unique storage mechanism, where the tension rod is inserted into the upper pipe and secured with a hi-hat clutch. This prevents deformation of the rod and protects the hi-hat stand from damage during transport. (This applies only to standard long rods.)
6-Way Tension Adjustment: The spring tension can be adjusted in six steps by rotating the 6-way tension adjustment dial. The tension can be visually checked. It can also be operated with one hand, making adjustments easy, even while sitting on the chair.
・Duo-spike: Duo-spike The tips of the two legs can be switched between rubber and spikes depending on the condition of the floor.
・Swivel Foot: Equipped with a mechanism that allows the two legs to rotate freely independent of the direction of the footboard.
This makes setting up a twin pedal much easier.
Footboard Angle Adjustment: The footboard angle can be adjusted, which greatly affects the width of the pedal stroke and sound variation. This allows for a more natural setup for twin pedals.
Tilt System: The tilt system allows you to tilt the stand itself by raising or lowering the fulcrum of the legs, expanding the range of your setup and helping you play hi-hat more expressively.
