Description
-----
The "594" in this guitar's model name refers to the scale length, and as the name suggests, it features a 24.594-inch scale. Given that this model was inspired by vintage guitars, you might wonder what the scale length actually means. However, when you actually play it, it has an exquisite sense of tension compared to the so-called "medium scale" 24.75-inch scale or the 24.5-inch scale used by PRS, and it also has a distinctly large, rich acoustic sound.
The neck grip is also a different design to the traditional "Pattern Vintage" shape. This shape is the same width as the Pattern and Pattern Thin necks, but it has a thicker grip than the Pattern, producing a full, solid sound.
It features a pickup selector located on the horn on the 6th string side, a zinc two-piece bridge, and new vintage-style tuners.
The pickups are the 58/15LT, a low-turn version of the 58/15, a covered version of the 85/15 pickup, which was developed with the aim of achieving a wide range from high to low end and a punchy modern classic character.
Rather than being a perfect reproduction of a vintage guitar, the PRS-specific sound incorporates vintage nuances while incorporating modern playability and tone nuances, producing a pleasant sound that ranges from clean to drive sounds.
Dual volume and push/pull tone controls provide a wide range of sounds.
Of course, the wood materials are not limited to PRS; like traditional set-neck guitars, the body features a maple top/mahogany back structure, and the neck is made of mahogany laminated with a rosewood fingerboard.
The beautiful flamed maple, which matches the concept of the model, has a pleasant attack that is absorbed by the high-quality mahogany, allowing you to enjoy a reliable sound that can be used for a wide range of genres, from rock to blues and jazz.
-----
The condition of this guitar is excellent, with some tarnish on the hardware, slight scuffs on the body, and slight scratches from playing, but no deep scratches that would detract from its aesthetic. The frets are still at about 70% full height, and there are no issues with the neck, truss rod, or electrical system, making this a guitar you can enjoy for years to come. Don't miss this opportunity!
