-Custom Shop Factory Wood Selection Custom Model-
The Martin Custom Shop is the pinnacle of modern Martin, where all products are handmade by around 20 skilled craftsmen, only the most skilled of whom are allowed to work in the vast factory.
This is a carefully crafted masterpiece, created by Ikebe Musical Instruments' acoustic staff who visited the Martin factory and selected the finest wood materials that are only used in custom shops.
This is an original custom model of Martin's top-of-the-line model, the D-45.
This is a special custom-ordered guitar with a 60's style design that is reminiscent of the popular D-45 that was reissued in 1968.
The top is made of VTS Swiss spruce, and the back and sides are made of beautiful straight-grain Indian rosewood. Both materials have been carefully selected from the finest premium grades.
Swiss spruce is said to most closely resemble the sonic nuances of the German spruce tops used at the time. Its crystal-like overtones produce a beautiful sound. By using this material with VTS (Vintage Tone System), you can enjoy a vintage-like response that sounds as if the instrument has been played for years, even though it's brand new.
It also features non-scalloped bracing unique to this era and a uniquely thick, full-thickness, SQ neck, resulting in an irresistible guitar with a powerful, wide-range sound that ranges from a tight bass range and torqueful mid-low range to a high range with rich, beautiful overtones.
Although the neck is thick, the 42.9mm narrow nut and the solid weight of the SQ rods provide stable playability. This neck shape and sound are especially ideal for gripping the guitar tightly in the low position and playing chord strokes.
In terms of appearance, we have reproduced the specifications of the time as closely as possible.
The hexagonal inlays, the bold vertical logo, the rounded corner headstock, the Grover Rotomatic tuners known as milk bottles, the box-style inlays on the body ends, etc. I'm sure many people will say, "This design! This is the D-45!"
From Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, to Takahiko Ishikawa, a hero of the Japanese folk scene, to the Yongo guitarist beloved by guitar heroes around the world...
This is a watch that is not only perfect in specs, but is also crafted with meticulous attention to detail, right down to the materials used. This is your chance to own something you've always wanted! Don't miss out!
