Description
Description
The guitars are made using carefully selected materials, solid technical skills, and designs born from Dana's extensive experience, and they combine ``high precision as instruments'' with ``a rich, musical tone,'' earning them high praise from many musicians.
This instrument, the OMC The Soloist, is Beaujois' most representative model.
This guitar was released in 1985 at the request of Eric Schoenberg, a famous ragtime guitarist. Its beautiful silhouette, featuring an OM (orchestra) body and a unique, shallowly curved Venetian cutaway, has earned it a reputation as a "modern classic" for its sophisticated design and sound, making it a favorite among many musicians.
The combination of Italian Alpine and Madagascar rosewood produces a sweet and full low range, a thick and solid mid range typical of Beaujois, and the sparkling, beautiful and musical overtones that add a touch of elegance to the afterglow.
Its looks belie its thick, substantial fundamental tone, and despite its OM body, it offers a dynamic range that makes you feel like you're playing a dreadnought. It also responds quickly to picking, with the entire body vibrating smoothly and losslessly even with light touches. When you touch harder, the sound image is firmly received without being distorted, faithfully outputting the player's touch nuances. This model truly possesses a sound worthy of a flagship model.
This particular guitar, serial number 10502, features a beautiful, translucent Italian spruce top, a richly colored and grained Madagascar rosewood back and sides that are almost indistinguishable from Jacaranda, a mahogany neck, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, and Waverley tuning machines, all made with luxurious materials.
This guitar's response is outstanding, and you can feel the sound rising from the moment you pick it. The long sustain creates a pleasant shimmering overtone, allowing you to experience a truly musical nuance.
Although it is a team-built product, it is no exaggeration to say that the quality is comparable to that of Luthier Made. It has evolved significantly from the Beaujois of the past, and even though it has become a top brand in the industry, you can still feel its determination to evolve.
The Soloist is an extremely rare model, with only a few units distributed domestically each year.
Please take this opportunity to try it out.
