Description

[TAMA's top-of-the-line pedal! Used Dyna-Sync Drum Pedal now in stock!]

HPDS1TW (Dynasync Twin Pedal)
This twin pedal features a direct drive system on both the left and right sides, using a metal arm to connect the cam and footboard. By optimizing the contact point of the direct link connecting the cam and footboard, we've achieved the perfect balance of power, speed, and natural feel. Additionally, by sliding the upper arm of the cam back and forth, you can infinitely adjust the cam's rotation radius. This allows you to customize the pedal feel to suit your playing style, providing a sense of unity that suits any style. A dedicated hard case is included.

Optimized Transmission Design
Direct drive pedals use a metal arm to connect the cam and footboard, eliminating any play in the action during playing and resulting in an extremely light feel and quick footboard return. However, the unique feel that changes depending on the angle of the foot pedal's pressure can be a matter of personal preference. With Dyna-Sync pedals, the direct link between the cam and footboard is set to the optimal position/angle, regardless of the angle of the pressure, achieving the perfect balance of power, speed, and a natural feel.

Dual Linkage
To efficiently convert the force applied to the footboard into rotational motion of the cam, a bearing-equipped rotating shaft is attached to both ends of the joint of the arm connecting the cam and footboard. Furthermore, by holding these together with two arms that apply equal force from both sides, energy loss at the joint is minimized, resulting in incredible response speed and power.

Slidable Cam
The cam's upper arm can be slid back and forth to continuously adjust the cam's rotation radius. Extending the arm to increase the rotation radius (toward L: Large) gently changes the footboard angle and the force required to press down, achieving the high level of control required for the subtle touch of a chain-drive pedal. Conversely, shortening the arm to decrease the rotation radius (toward S: Small) creates a more direct-drive feel with a more pronounced change in footboard angle and the force required to press down, resulting in a solid feel. While maintaining direct-drive action, the pedal's versatile pedal feel can be tailored to suit any playing style, providing a sense of unity.

Footboard Angle Adjustment
An important feature for customizing your drummer's pedal is the footboard angle, which can be adjusted independently of the beater angle. The Dyna-Sync pedal features a new and unique angle adjustment function. At the tip of the footboard, there is a clamp that connects the linkage extending from the cam. By adjusting the bolt there with a tuning key, the angle of the entire footboard can be changed and firmly fixed.

Beater Angle Adjustment
The beater angle can be adjusted continuously in conjunction with the footboard by loosening the square-head bolt on the side of the rocker cam and adjusting it using the scale on the black cap as a guide.
*Dyna-Sync pedals use an adjustment mechanism that changes the direct link angle in conjunction with the beater angle adjustment to maintain the characteristic feel regardless of the beater angle. Therefore, adjusting the beater angle also changes the footboard angle, so adjust the angle of the footboard only by loosening the bolt on the clamp at the tip of the footboard.
*When adjusting the angle of the left beater on a twin pedal, adjust it using the rocker cam, not the beater holder.
Sync Coil
The Sync-Coil is a TAMA original mechanism that assists the footboard's return by having the coil touch the underside of the footboard just before the beater hits the head. It uses a spring that is 1.5 times stronger than the Cobra Coil found in Cobra pedals, providing a more powerful effect.

Heavy Spring
The IRON COBRA 900/600 pedals feature a stronger spring (HP900-7H) than the one used in the original pedals, resulting in faster beater return and a greater sense of connection between the footboard and the pedal.

Swivel Spring Tight
This mechanism maximizes the effect of the spring. The axis that secures the bottom of the spring rotates, allowing the spring to constantly expand and contract vertically without distortion, even during intense movement. This converts the elastic energy stored in the spring into energy that moves the pedal without loss. Furthermore, by reducing friction at the connection point with the spring, we have achieved ideal pedal work, with a light depression and a fast return.

Speedo-ring & Quick Hook
A high-precision ball bearing is installed at the connection point between the spring and shaft. This bearing converts the elastic energy generated in the spring when you step on the footboard into rotational energy for the cam without any waste. Furthermore, because it precisely follows the movement of the spring, it achieves a smooth, linked movement of the foot and the footboard.

Para-Clamp II Pro
This original TAMA clamp securely holds bass drum hoops of various thicknesses. The rubber-covered tip of the clamp increases grip, providing a strong hold while minimizing damage to the hoop. The tip also features a three-dimensional design that allows it to move in three dimensions, adapting to the angle of the bass drum, even when the front of the bass drum is raised extremely high, ensuring stability.

Foot Board
The footboards designed specifically for Dyna-Sync pedals feature a flat surface across the entire surface, making them compatible with a variety of pedal playing techniques. The footboard itself is a standard length, but the starting point of the footboard is set far back to provide a comfortable, light feel, allowing for a lighter step while maintaining a natural action. Like a long footboard, stepping on the heel, which provides less vertical movement, enhances the ability to handle fast passages.

Hinge Guard Block
The bearings on both ends of the hinge shaft are sandwiched between the top and bottom, which distributes the force applied to the bearings when you step on the pedal. This reduces the load on the hinge shaft itself, resulting in more precise rotation, smoother operation, and greater durability.

Oiles Bearing Hinge
The hinges that support the footboard use Oiles bearings, which are bell-brass mesh bearings coated with Teflon resin. This eliminates uncomfortable lateral movement of the footboard and ensures smooth pedal work.

Accessories: Soft case *Please note that this is a used item and may have scratches, dirt, or rust on parts.
*The beater has been replaced with a CB900AS [Accu-Strike Cobra Beater].
