Description
Based on the iconic blue chorus pedal made in Japan, The Fates is a classic pedal we all know and love that will fit perfectly on any player's pedalboard.
Fates features an expanded control range with Rate and Depth knobs, providing maximum flexibility in an easy-to-use two-knob package, and a Chorus/Vibrato switch lets you bypass the clean mix portion of the circuit for a fun vibrato sound that adds sway while retaining musicality.
Using the iconic MN3207 chip, Fates is a pure analog circuit with a rich, warm modulation sound that's never thin or wimpy. To keep the signal going into the chorus circuit strong, we added a JFET buffer/input stage. This input stage gives the sound just the right amount of compression and works extremely well in combination with the drive circuit.
High-quality panel-mount In, Out and DC jacks ensure the pedal remains reliable.
The Fates' Vibrato mode has been tweaked to change its modulation characteristics less dramatically, and we've changed the depth of that mode so it doesn't vibrate as harshly.
The Fates also features a Rate LED on the face of the pedal so you never lose track of the speed you set your circuit to on stage.
