Description

This is the 60th issue of Effector Book, marking the 15th anniversary of its publication.
To commemorate this, we have put together a special feature that is a little different from usual.
The theme is "Made in Japan." While regular issues feature in-depth coverage of specific models and effects, this issue is designed to look back at Japanese-made effects pedals in general, from the late 1960s to the present.
The vertical axis of the magazine is interviews with various manufacturers and pedal builders, from legends like Saegusa Fumio, who designed Uni-Vibe, and Tamura Susumu, known as the designer of TS, to talented brands that are renowned in the handmade world, and up-and-coming builders active at the forefront, while the horizontal axis is filled with test play articles. This feature examines the appeal of Japanese-made effects pedals from various angles.
By the way, we've increased the number of color pages this time only. Almost all of the 52-page feature article is now in color!
