Sheffield is an industrial city in central England.
VK DRUMS, which began operations in 2012 in this area, which is home to a thriving steel industry, is a custom drum manufacturer that brings a variety of ideas to life with the concept of producing drums that set it apart from other drum manufacturers.
The drums are made primarily from stainless steel, titanium, copper, and aluminum, with the shells, hoops, and lugs all being original parts made by VK DRUMS.

The newly arrived "Seven Chakra" is a snare drum with a stainless steel shell, and the joints of the shell are connected with rivets rather than welding, so while it looks rugged at first glance, you can sense the craftsmanship behind it.
It is very deep at 7 inches, and the sound it produces is well-balanced, with a sense of space and clarity, and the tight attack of stainless steel.
At lower tunings, the sound is understated but cohesive and has a strong presence, while at mid to high tension it has an attacking yet smooth, pleasant and refreshing sound.
The snare has good response and a unique open reverberation.
The original parts, manufactured in-house, are of extremely high precision, and the outstanding response and wide tuning range combined with a well-defined, cohesive sound make this a snare drum worth listening to.

■The tuning key (V-Key) is stored in the strainer switch.
■The dirt on the shell and parts is a design feature of this model. If you touch dirty parts such as the tuning bolts directly, dirt may stick to your hands.
■The letters of the "VK" logo on the shell have been laser cut out, which also serves as an air hole.
■The nylon washer attached to the tension bolt is sleeve-shaped to prevent contact between the hoop and tension bolt.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
