This electric acoustic guitar features Ibanez's original "Advanced Auditorium" shape, which provides excellent balance when held and allows players to experience the sound for themselves!


This guitar features an "Advanced Auditorium" body, which is designed with careful attention to weight balance for sound and playability, with the widest part of the waist wider than usual and the waist of the body slightly moved toward the neck! The body edges are also rounded to prevent discomfort even during extended playing sessions, and every detail has been thought out.

In addition, the heel of the cutaway is angled, improving playability on the higher frets.

There are many examples of openings in the body sides to enhance acoustics, but this AIR (Acoustic Information Response) port is not just a simple hole.
As shown in the diagram, the design is based on the idea that two resonating sections installed inside the body refract and reflect the resonant waves, allowing them to resonate efficiently out of the port.
The AIRport is designed to be directly under the player holding the guitar, allowing them to feel their own acoustic sound more strongly.
The original body shape provides excellent balance when held and allows you to experience your own sound.
The waist (widest point) of the body is designed to be slightly wider than a typical auditorium. In addition, the narrowest point of the body has been moved slightly toward the neck compared to a typical auditorium, taking weight balance into consideration.
Furthermore, to make it easier to hold, the edges of the body are gently angled and rounded.
The XM bracing, perfected during the development of Ibanez's original dreadnought model, the AAD (Advanced Acoustic Dreadnought), is called XM because the area of the tone bar connecting from the X looks like an M. This bracing delivers a sound characterized by clear low frequencies and crisp high frequencies that won't get lost in a band ensemble.
In developing the AAM (Advanced Auditorium), we adapted the XM specifically for the auditorium, thereby enhancing the low-mid range that is often lacking in compact-bodied guitars.
