Description

[Special Bargain Items]
A Japan-exclusive model of the Specter EURO series that uses a bolt-on structure.

SPECTRE is a long-established brand that has captivated countless bassists with its compact design featuring a supple, three-dimensional curved form and clear-sounding active circuitry, delivering superior playability and tight bass tones. The brand burst onto the scene like a comet in the late 1970s, and with Vinnie Fodera among its former staff, it is known as a pioneer of New York handmade bass manufacturers. It's also well-known that its flagship NS series was designed by the legendary Steinberger. Even today, in a world where many elaborate active basses are on the rise, the brand's distinctive appeal, born from its high level of perfection, remains strong, and its signature fat sound continues to captivate countless bassists.

The EURO BOLT series features bolt-on neck models manufactured at a designated factory in Europe (Czech Republic). The crisp, clear sound is a departure from the more familiar neck-through design, establishing this model as a unique and appealing feature. The elegant body shape, featuring Spector's signature NS curved design, offers excellent maneuverability on stage and excellent playability all the way up to the upper positions. It strongly inherits the classic Spector style, which successfully combines practicality with good looks. Its ruggedness, down to the finest details, makes it durable enough to withstand heavy use.

The thick maple top, which highlights the figured grain, the lightweight alder back body, and the roasted maple neck/fretboard combine to create a distinctive thickness and rich attack that accentuates the thickness of the bottom. The midrange has a punchy feel with just the right amount of compression, and the lustrous highs and tight lows create a powerful yet fast-paced sound that's reminiscent of the classics.

This bolt-on model uses Aguilar pickups and preamps, giving it a sound with just the right amount of elasticity that's different from the familiar EMG. Don't miss out on this hidden gem that maintains the Spector identity while also perfectly combining the individuality of the model.
