Description

Selected product at the Divider Business Fair 2024

・Bacchus Japan Tune-up Series
All JT series products are designed to be immediately usable by players, and each instrument is painstakingly adjusted and set up in the Divider specialist department in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture. Carrying on the spirit of Bacchus' premium Handmade Series, launched in 2001, the JT series delivers instruments that players can trust with confidence and that produce the best performances.

・"TACTICS24" x Sported Maple
The "TACTICS24" model, the first in the JT series, features a body top made of spalted maple, a wood known as an exotic wood. "Spalted" is a term used to describe wood that has developed a distinctive grain pattern as a result of decay caused by bacteria in nature. Often used in decorative arts, this wood offers a unique feel that is different from the more common flame or quilted grain.
We use an open-pore finish, which is an extremely thin coat of paint that leaves the wood's ducts unfilled, resulting in a finish that preserves the wood's texture and grain as much as possible.

The heel cut and back contour eliminate the neck plate, allowing for superior playability on the higher frets. The contoured back of the body also minimizes stress, even during extended playing sessions.

24 frets and stainless steel frets. The 24-fret design uses wear-resistant stainless steel frets. The jumbo-sized frets provide smooth fingering and extended sustain.

The Locking Tuner features a mechanism whereby turning the wheel on the back of the tuning peg raises the rod inside the string post, pinching the string and locking it in place. This reduces the number of turns of string around the string post, dramatically improving tuning stability.
Because it is a mechanism that clamps the string, there is no need to wind the string as much, which has the advantage of reducing the time it takes to change strings and reducing tension fluctuations.

-Roasted maple neck for increased rigidity
This model also features the popular roasted maple neck, a new standard for Bacchus. Heat treatment not only makes the neck highly rigid and resistant to warping, but also produces a dry sound with good attack.

- Coil tap function & 2-stud tremolo unit In addition to the coil tap function that produces a pseudo-single coil tone by switching the mini switch, it also comes standard with a Wilkinson 2-stud tremolo that allows for smooth arm movements.
