Description

A fuzz pedal that produces a fat, warm, drive tone similar to low-gain 60's-70's fuzz!
DanEle is well-known for its vintage reproductions! This is undoubtedly the best quality!

This effect pedal is a reproduction of a pedal developed and released in 1966 by Steve Ridinger, founder of FOXX pedals and current owner of Danelectro(R).

Originally named The Liverpool Fuzz Tone and released as "FUZZ" at the time, this model is a modern revival of a pedal with a completely original circuit configuration that offers properties somewhere between distortion and fuzz.
The Fuzz and Drive controls can be set independently, allowing you to create a wide range of sounds, from a pleasant distortion to a wild, thunderous sound.
By switching the STOCK/MID CUT switch, you can easily shift to a mid-scoop sound.
Use it in conjunction with the tone control to create a wide variety of tonal characteristics. Adding the NICHOLS 1966 to your system will add even more variety to your sound. From gentle fuzz to ultra-aggressive distortion, this pedal is well worth exploring! The name NICHOLS 1966 comes from 1966, the year The Liverpool Fuzz Tone was released, and from Nichols Canyon in Hollywood, California, where Steve Ridinger lived with his parents in the mid-1960s.

A pedal that brings back to life the Liverpool Fuzz Tone, released in 1966.
This model is a modern revival of the pedal that was developed and released in 1966 by Steve Ridinger, founder of FOXX pedals and current owner of Danelectro(R), and was named The Liverpool Fuzz Tone.It was released at the time as "FUZZ," and had a completely original circuit configuration with properties that were somewhere between distortion and fuzz.

* Completely original circuit configuration with characteristics between distortion and fuzz
At the time, Steve Ridinger didn't have the money to buy a fuzz pedal, nor could he obtain a circuit diagram, so he developed a pedal with a completely original circuit configuration that had a unique sound character that was somewhere between distortion and fuzz. This model reproduces the circuit from that time.

◆A fusion of vintage sound and modern functionality
This pedal faithfully recreates the 1966 sound, brimming with vintage charm. It also features independent Fuzz and Drive controls, allowing for a wide range of tones, from pleasant distortion to wild, thumping sounds. The Stock/Mid Cut switch allows for a mid-scooped sound. Combined with the Tone control, this pedal offers a wide variety of sound characteristics.
