A limited edition OPB-shaped model produced by the long-established brand Schecter.
Since its founding on the West Coast of the United States in the late 1970s, SCHECTER GUITAR RESERCH has been a pioneering component brand, constantly evolving to meet the innovative demands of musicians. It's a well-known and popular brand in Japan, supported by a wide range of people and across a variety of musical genres, from veteran players to young band members. This OPB-shaped bass guitar is part of the Japan Original Line (JOL) series, a series that actively incorporates Schecter brand standards while pursuing even greater cost performance.
Based on the original PB-type guitar, which has been popular for many years and is available in a variety of variations, this model incorporates Schecter's signature ingenuity. It features a diagonal neck heel joint, a four-saddle bridge for precise octave adjustment, and original PJ-layout pickups and passive controls, all of which emphasize Schecter's unique practicality.
The poplar body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard produce a smooth, forward-thinking sound that's characteristic of the PJ layout. This model successfully blends classic design with modern style, resulting in a model that combines both looks and playability.
