Zen Quadro's four discrete preamps are built with a six-transistor topology inspired by British and American analog consoles from the '80s and '90s, ensuring accurate sound capture while minimizing noise. This ultra-low noise and up to 75dB of gain enable Zen Quadro to handle even low-gain dynamic and ribbon microphones.

Antelope Audio engineers combined DSP and FPGA chips to model analog hardware at the component level, resulting in a sound and behavior that's nearly indistinguishable from the real thing, with near-zero latency and without taxing your computer's CPU.

For example, you can use a Mac, PC, iOS (USB-C) or Android device simultaneously, freely routing signals between the two USB connections and creating mixes.
The loopback feature is also ideal for streaming, and you can charge your mobile device through the secondary port while powering the Zen Quadro through the primary port.

■Enhanced standalone functionality for live performances and tours.The bus-powered USB-C connection and durable housing mean you can always have a compact, mobile studio with you.
With fully standalone operation, the color display provides easy access to routing and mixer controls, and the ability to recall settings and real-time FX chains makes it ideal for live performance.
Additionally, the secondary USB-C port allows you to use two computers on stage for live performances with just one Zen Quadro.

■Flexible connectivity throughout the studio
Equipped with four mic/line inputs (two of which are also instrument inputs), an ADAT input, and S/PDIF I/O, it can record up to 14 inputs simultaneously.
In addition to the monitor output, there is also a second line output, which can be used to connect to a second speaker or as an output for outboard processing.
The second headphone output has an independent mixer, allowing two people to listen to different cue mixes simultaneously.
The DC-coupled I/O can also send and receive control voltage (CV) signals, allowing Zen Quadro to become part of a modular synth setup.
