This signature model was created as part of a special project in collaboration with the family of master guitarist Phil Woods.
It is crafted to be as close as possible to the mouthpiece he has played for over 40 years, and delivers the sound character of the world-renowned alto.
This mouthpiece has moderate resistance and excellent response, and has the potential to enable free and flexible playing.
This model has a bright tone typical of an alto, with a sharp edge to the sound, and a good sound that can hold its own even in a full band arrangement.
■Accessories: Drake ligature, cap, pouch, outer box
■Opening lineup "5" (1.83mm)...Mayer 5+, equivalent to Dukoff D5-D6 "6" (2.03mm)...Mayer 7-7, equivalent to Dukoff D7 "7" (2.16mm)...Mayer 8-8, equivalent to Dukoff D8 (Please consider this as a guide only)
