Description
This is an all-analog noise gate effect with a separate noise gate section from the distortion effect "PTPRE" released in 2023.
The threshold can be adjusted with a single knob, and the "High/Low" range of threshold values (the strength of the gate) can be switched.
Equipped with "mode".
It also has a total of four input/output jacks, allowing it to be connected in a variety of ways to the send/return section of an amplifier or an effect, ensuring reliable noise reduction.
○Threshold
Adjusts the threshold level that activates the mute circuit.
Detects how low the input signal level has become,
Mutes the output signal just before the Gate Output jack.
Turning it clockwise increases the threshold.
This means the signal is muted sooner.
It can be controlled with just one knob, without compromising the natural sustain and decay.
○Threshold mode switch
Switches the threshold value range.
In High mode, the mute circuit operates earlier than in Low mode.
It can be gated tighter.
High mode is effective when you want crisp sound, such as when using a lot of choppy riffs.
○4 I/O jacks
Equipped with four jacks: guitar in, guitar out, gate in, and gate out.
It allows for a variety of connections depending on the application and situation, ensuring reliable noise blocking.
Guitar In: Connect to the output of a guitar or other effector using a shielded cable.
When you plug it in, it supplies power.
Guitar Out: Outputs the input signal.
Connect to the input of an amplifier or other effector using a shielded cable.
Gate In: For amplifier preamps, distortion pedals, etc.
Connect it immediately after the device you want to mute.
Gate Out: Outputs the signal through the gate.
Connect an amplifier or other effects device using a shielded cable.
