Description
Description
Minarik Guitars is well known among guitar fans in the United States for its flashy looks that are so typical of American culture, and many artists use its products, but it may still be relatively unknown in Japan.
This is a Goddess model, which has a somewhat simple body shape, but a sophisticated sunburst color, body carving, and beautiful fingerboard inlay work. It is part of the Studio X-Treme Series, which is the current regular line.
【body】
The overall weight is approximately 3.8 kg. The body is made of maple top and mahogany back. The quilted maple top features luxurious binding, impressive carving, and gold hardware, giving it a beautiful appearance, true to its name "Goddess." Although there are signs of use such as dents and scratches, and some tarnish on the metal parts, it is in relatively good condition. The control knobs have been replaced.
【neck】
The neck is made of mahogany and the fingerboard is made of rosewood. The stunning inlay work on the fingerboard and headstock is captivating. The neck section is in excellent condition with no noticeable scratches. The gold imperial tuners are tarnished, but they function well with little variation in winding. There is little wear on the frets or nut, and playability is good. The nut width is 44.0mm. The neck shape is relatively sturdy.
[Electrical system]
The controls are standard: a 3-way pickup selector, 2 volumes, and 2 tones. Both the neck and bridge pickups are made by Tesla, and the "Special Edition" lettering on the pickup covers stands out. As you'd expect from its appearance, it excels at producing a rock sound, and the bridge pickup has higher gain than the neck pickup, making it a great choice for those looking for a crunchy sound.
