Hisashi Numazawa has performed with numerous artists from Japan and abroad, ranging from jazz, R&B, funk, rock to pop.
The SABIAN Artisan Ride is essential to his sound creation. It's a model he's used since its release, as it's a ride cymbal that can flexibly adapt to a variety of situations, whether it's a song or a collaborator. What Numazawa looks for in a ride cymbal is "rich sustain," and it's this control that gives him his groove.

Artisan, which has always been close to his musical philosophy of deep respect for his predecessors and the creation of new value, has now released 22 Light Ride and Medium Ride, carefully selected from his perspective!
Each guitar has been carefully sound-checked by Hisashi Numazawa, and comes with a selection certificate signed by him, which includes a sound chart that shows the characteristics of tone, sustain, and response.
