Description
Description
Thunderplugs are earplugs for live performances that boast an average of 20dB of noise reduction across all frequencies thanks to their special music filters, protecting your ears from hearing loss and damage without compromising your enjoyment of sound. They are comfortable to wear and easy to put on and take off.
Noise-induced hearing loss Noise-induced hearing loss is caused by loud noise, whether for a short or long period of time. The cells in the inner ear that transmit sound information to the brain can be damaged by noise that is too loud or lasts for a long time, resulting in hearing loss. In most cases, this is temporary, but ignoring it and continuing to be exposed to noise for long periods of time can cause permanent hearing loss.
Noise volume: Live music venues, clubs, festivals, etc. can exceed 100dB, which can have serious effects on hearing, including temporary tinnitus and, in severe cases, permanent hearing loss. Currently, reports of loud noise causing hearing loss have been published around the world, including in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, and the US.
◎75dB (e.g., vacuum cleaner): No risk of hearing damage.
◎80dB (such as in a classroom for younger elementary school students): Exposure for 8 hours can cause hearing damage.
◎90dB (such as when riding a motorcycle): Hearing damage can occur after one hour of exposure.
◎100dB (clubs, etc.): Hearing damage occurs after 15 minutes of exposure.
◎105dB (e.g. rock concert): Hearing damage occurs after 4 minutes of exposure.
To prevent hearing loss
Use Thunderplugs! Made with silicone-free AlpineThermoShape material, Thunderplugs are virtually invisible, comfortable to wear, and easy to put on and take off. You can still hear your music, protecting your ears from hearing loss and damage without compromising your music enjoyment.
●Soundproofing effect
Thunderplugs have minimal impact on the music you hear, and reduce frequency bands that put strain on the ears, providing an average of 20dB of sound insulation.
Noise-induced hearing loss develops gradually, and by the time you notice it, it's already too late. For example, if you experience difficulty hearing certain frequency bands or tinnitus, even expensive, high-quality audio equipment can be ruined. Thunderplugs protect your ears so you can enjoy great sound for years to come.
For musicians, for example, if you're at a live music venue and you're listening to other bands playing at high volume while waiting for your turn, when it's your turn to perform, your ears will already be affected by the loud volume and won't be able to properly judge your own sound. Thunderplugs protect your ears from hearing damage caused by loud volumes, allowing you to always properly monitor your own performance and that of your teammates.
How important are ears and how serious is hearing loss?
I recommend Thunderplugs to anyone who enjoys music.
■How to use◎ Simply pinch your earlobe with your index finger and thumb, and gently insert the Thunderplugs into your ear using the included applicator (red insertion tool), being careful not to crush them! Be careful not to insert the earplugs too far into your ear.
◎ Wash earplugs regularly with mild detergent and lukewarm water (approximately 37°C). After washing, dry them before using again. Earplugs can be reused approximately 100 times.
■Precautions for use!
・Please do not modify this product.
- When wearing the earphones, make sure they only cover the ear canal (do not insert them too far into the ear).
-Children under 15 should use this product under adult supervision.
- When removing, do so slowly and carefully to protect the eardrum.
- Do not use for scuba diving or other diving activities.
- If swallowed accidentally, it can be extremely dangerous, including choking.

Improper fit, improper use, or failure to follow instructions will reduce noise reduction, increase the risk of hearing damage, and affect the lifespan of reusable earplugs.
