Description

momose Custom Craft Guitar

The MC1-STD/M ST-style guitar from Momose, renowned for its high level of perfection! This model features a slightly larger horn on the first string side, a recessed neck set plate, a large hole for rod adjustment, and binding made from the same material as the fingerboard, giving it a Momose twist on the traditional ST-style. The YUTA VS-1 pickup produces a crisp, clean tone. With its modern sound and functional specifications, this versatile guitar is easy to play in any genre, so be sure to give it a try!

[Momose MC Model]
This guitar inherits the basic structure of the vintage ST, pursuing traditional resonance and tone. It also further advances customization with an emphasis on modern playability, and is based on Momose's core philosophy of "processing each material according to its individual differences, such as mass, elasticity, and resonance." It pursues the possibilities of vintage style through completely handcrafted construction. This guitar has been perfected, elevating its overall quality to a unique, original style.

The body shape is designed with a slightly wider cutaway for smooth shifting to higher positions and playability in mind, and the head shape has a classic yet impactful feel.
The adjustment section has been redesigned to allow for instantaneous adjustments while retaining the same design that allows for quick settings. The semi-matt, ultra-thin top lacquer and meticulously sanded neck shape provide a smooth playing feel, further enhancing the grip feel.

The 210R fingerboard eliminates choking when playing in high positions or when choking, and the medium-sized, slightly higher JESCAR FW9662-NS (equivalent to Jim Dunlop USA #6105 frets) specifications remain the same, making it easy to finger with accurate pitch. However, by applying a wood binding made of the same material as the fingerboard to the sides of the fingerboard to cover the fret tangs, this guitar achieves an even smoother neck grip and prevents burrs that can occur when used in harsh conditions.

The neck joint also retains the traditional method of using a joint plate, but also employs a unique heel cut and recessed cut for improved playability. The joint plate is made of high-density material for improved sound quality.

Other features include GOTOH Magnum Lock tuners for precise pitch maintenance and a custom-made bridge with a 10.8mm string pitch, further highlighting the commitment to quality. The assembly is also made with only the highest quality parts from the USA, and meticulous shielding with conductive paint is used to prevent noise. The YUTA VS-1 pickup, highly acclaimed by many players for its ability to faithfully bring out the natural tone of the wood, is also included as standard.
