At its core, ULTRAWAVE BASS uses a synthesizer-style technique called multiband processing, which divides the input signal into multiple frequency bands and applies effects to each individually. It is more than just a drive/tremolo pedal; by combining envelopes, LFOs, and multiple routing options with stereo input and output, it creates ULTRA sounds that go far beyond the limits of conventional effects.

- Multi-band processing: ULTRAWAVE has 37 types of band split options, allowing you to divide the input signal into up to 10 frequency bands.
By splitting the input signal into multiple frequency bands and individually adjusting the gain and level of each frequency band, you can create a rich, synthesizer-like, unique sound.
In addition to the 10 bands, there are also 2, 3, 4 and 8 bands, each with different band split options, allowing you to match the frequency ranges of various instruments.
It also functions as a traditional distortion or fuzz if the frequencies are not split.

- Compressor/Expander: The compressor's Input Gain, Threshold, Ratio, Attack, Release, and Output Gain can be fine-tuned while checking the results on the graphic monitor in the editor.
The dual channel feature allows specific frequency bands to be compressed independently and can be placed either before or after the distortion block.

- Distortion types: The library includes 44 different distortion types, ranging from traditional distortion types to the infinitely versatile Foldback distortion devised by SOURCE AUDIO's chief engineer, Bob Chidraw.

- Multi-band Tremolo: In addition to being able to set individual distortion for each band, ULTRAWAVE also allows you to set individual tremolo effects for each band.
The tremolo effects for all bands are controlled by the same master LFO, but the phase (start point) of each band can be set individually.
The setting pattern can be selected from the presets set in the pull-down menu.

・LFO: The LFO that controls the multi-band tremolo can be selected from Sine (sine wave) and attack/release waveforms that the user can freely set (Single Tremolo is only Sine).
The LFO waveform changes dynamically through the interaction of Attack, Release, Shape, and On Time (if Sine is selected, Attack, Release, Shape, and On Time do not function).

EQ: Morphable 8-band EQ and low-pass/high-pass filters. Adjust the final tone shape of the ULTRAWAVE and can be turned on/off for each channel and preset.

- Morphing: A unique feature that allows you to set two patterns for the distortion block and graphic EQ and switch between them seamlessly.
Switching can be achieved using an LFO, envelope, or external device (such as an expression pedal).

-Envelope: Control the morphing with a simple two-control envelope for sensitivity and response speed.

- Stereo input/output: You can create completely different presets and route them in series/parallel or output them from separate outputs.
The stereo option also applies to multiband tremolo: use the channel 1/2 sync option or phase offset control to create stereo ping-pong or tremolo effects.
