Description

~Model supervised by fingerstyle guitarist Yu Watanabe!!~

The HOC-KINGFISHER was developed under the supervision of fingerstyle guitarist Yu Watanabe.
After trying out various body shapes and tonewood combinations, Watanabe Yu chose the specifications that best suited his preferred playing style, "fingerstyle, which combines warmth and clarity."
In terms of design, the design is inspired by his beloved Headway HDC-1020 King Fisher, and the fingerboard and headstock are decorated with a unique inlay design.

The top is made of solid spruce, and the back and sides are made of beautiful Macassar ebony.
The HOC body shape has a relatively small body and a medium-scale 628mm neck, making it easy to hold and press the strings.
The guitars are produced as part of the Headway Japan Tune-up Series, where detailed adjustments are made at the Divider Guitars Workshop in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture, to achieve playability that is perfect for practical use. While the price is relatively reasonable, the guitars also feature playability, which is important for fingerstyle playing.

This guitar is packed with the attention to detail that only a fingerstyle guitarist can have, allowing you to enjoy a quality that is one class above the rest in both sound and playability.
This is a guitar that I would especially recommend to anyone who wants to start playing fingerstyle guitar. Give it a try!

◆Comment from Yu Watanabe◆
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I decided on the specifications for the HOC-KINGFISHER by experimenting with various materials and body shapes in search of a soft tone that would suit my playing style and the music I was playing.
The line sound is set up so that it sounds natural and well-balanced.
This is a guitar that gives you the feeling that the more you play it, the richer and warmer its tone will become.
The small body and easy-to-grip neck make it very easy to play, and I would recommend it to women and people with smaller bodies.
The fingerboard, head decorations, and wood grain of the body are all beautiful, and you'll grow to love it when you hold it in your hands.
This is a model that has been carefully designed in many aspects, including sound, playability, and appearance, so please come and check it out at a music store."
