Description
Description
The Bacchus brand's flagship line, the "Handmade Series," was launched in earnest over 20 years ago in 2000 with this concept in mind. The "DUKE" series, including the DUKE-STANDARD, was born as the first set-neck model in the Handmade Series and remains a long-selling favorite to this day. In recent years, production has been unable to keep up with demand, resulting in an insufficient supply to the market. However, in response to the demand from users seeking a DUKE, a new DUKE model will be launched in 2023. Experience the true value of the new DUKE, incorporating the technology Bacchus has cultivated.
The arched shape inherited from the Handmade Series follows the arched shape of the Handmade Series DUKE model, which is made in Japan at the Asuka factory. The tightly curved arch adds definition to the body top, which is the face of the guitar, and the polished finish reflects beautifully, creating a compact look.
The neck angle, which affects the playability and sound of a set-neck model, has been fine-tuned to suit the material and design, while reproducing the neck angle of the Japanese-made Handmade Series DUKE model, just like the arch shape.
This achieves the best balance between a firm attack resulting from moderate tension and a rich body resonance.
Deep joint with high vibration transmission: The deep joint method has a wide contact area with the body, which transmits vibrations firmly. The wide contact area also makes it easier to achieve the desired setup angle and woodworking precision.
- Adjusted body thickness
The body thickness has been adjusted so as not to impair the balance of the DUKE's unique appearance.
By adopting a slightly thinner design, we have succeeded in reducing the overall weight of the body, making it easier for even relatively small users to hold and significantly improving handling.
The slim U-shaped neck grip makes it easy for players with smaller hands to press the strings, allowing smooth left-hand fingering and allowing you to concentrate on playing.
- Setup by a specialized domestic inspection departmentAll instruments are inspected and set up by a specialized inspection department at Divider's headquarters in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture, before shipping.By carefully examining the individual differences that arise from the wood used, and adjusting and finishing each instrument, players can enjoy a solid playing experience that feels comfortable in their hands from the very first time they pick it up.
