Description
Description
Among the Epiphone models produced at the Gibson factory, the Epiphone EB-DL Embassy Deluxe Bass is known as a rare model with particularly low production numbers, making it a collector's item. Made with the same materials as the Gibson Thunderbird IV, the limited production numbers of the original make it a highly sought-after instrument.
The piece we have in stock this time was shipped around 1967. It is a valuable piece that has been passed down from artist to artist.
【body】
The overall weight is approximately 3.9 kg. The body is made of mahogany and features a rounded double-cutaway body typical of Epiphone. The cherry color has only moderate fading, and although there is some weather checking, dents, aging of the pickguard, and tarnish on the metal parts, the guitar is in relatively good condition. There are signs that the bridge studs have been moved slightly forward. The strap pin at the neck joint and the mute part are missing.
【neck】
The neck is made of mahogany and features the familiar "Bat Wing Head" design characteristic of the Epiphone brand. While the tuners vary in tightness, they function perfectly. The frets have been filed and show no significant wear, ensuring excellent playability. The nut width is 38.3mm. The neck profile is characterized by its narrow width yet substantial thickness.
[Electrical system]
The controls are simple: two volumes and one tone. The controls, including the pickups, are in the same condition as they were back then. While maintaining its distinctive, bold bass tone, it also offers the range you expect from a two-pickup design.
This is a rare item that is always out of stock, and a valuable piece with a rich history. Don't miss this opportunity!
