The UF1 is the ultimate single-fader controller for total control of your DAW. With the expertise gained from developing large consoles, SSL has the expertise to optimize workflows in production environments, bringing the advanced workflow that only SSL can provide to your production environment.
Equipped with 100mm moving faders, two high-resolution displays (large and small), durable rubber keys, and a weighted jog wheel, the UF1 is housed in a sturdy metal chassis. It offers full control of your DAW's pan, sends, plug-in control, and more, plus 46 soft keys that can be customized to suit your workflow.
With clear visual feedback, intuitive controls, compatibility with the bundled SSL metering plug-in and SSL 360° software, and the popular Focus mode for plug-in control that was introduced on the UF8, the UF1 offers unprecedented power and control in a controller of this size.

●Control everything with one device
The UF1 can control up to three DAWs simultaneously and includes profiles for Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Studio One, Ableton Live, LUNA, and Pyramix.
Dedicated transport controls and a jog/scrub wheel let you move through large sessions quickly and efficiently.
The secondary transport keys can be customised with essential workflow shortcuts, such as loop on/off or click track on/off.
You can also quickly access DAW automation mode by pressing the Shift button, and the 100mm motorized moving faders provide precise control when creating automation or fine-tuning track volumes during recording or mixing sessions.
The UF1's two high-resolution displays, large and small, provide detailed visual feedback of your DAW's track names, parameters, time display, SSL meter plug-ins, and the 360° channel strips in the SSL plug-in mixer. You can control SSL channel strip plug-ins directly from the UF1's surface, and the plug-in's EQ curves are displayed on the large displays.
The small display also shows gate and compression activity, and the UF1's large encoder allows for channel banking, mouse wheel emulation (in Focus mode), and computer system volume control.

SSL Meter Plugin and SSL 360° Integration
The UF1 comes bundled with a lifetime license for the SSL meter plug-in, which will be released at the same time, and can be controlled directly from the UF1 itself or the SSL 360° plug-in mixer.
Additionally, each meter can be displayed on the UF1's 4.3-inch IPS display.
The SSL Meter Plug-in provides metering tools such as peak and RMS levels, K-System, stereo balance, phase correlation bars, Lissajous phase scope, 31-band RTA, VU, and PPM metering. (LUFS-compatible meters will be available in a software update from fall 2023 onwards.)

●Extend UF1 with SSL UC1 and UF8 controllers
The UF1 can be used on its own, but when combined with the UF8 you can experience even deeper SSL DAW control.
The UF1 is also an ideal hardware expansion for the UC1 SSL plug-in controller, adding fader control for easy access to SSL 360° channel strip parameters and providing visual feedback for EQ curves.
Combining the UF8 with the UC1 and UF1 creates the ultimate SSL controller for SSL virtual console workflows.
