The ACROSS 3000 SGY has been updated with a redesign of the cable components from the previous model to allow users to experience the high basic performance of the ACROSS 3000 speaker cable even more fully as a complete product with plugs. Newly developed SGSL pure silver + thick 24K gold-plated Y-lugs and NRF-005T non-magnetic noise suppression tape have been adopted, and every detail of each material has been carefully considered and updated.

While minimizing output signal loss from the amplifier, it transmits the signal to the speaker as is, eliminating as much as possible the inherent characteristics of cables, including plugs. ■Product Features Oyaide Electric's pride and joy, the precision conductor 102 SSC, is used. To minimize the inclusion of impurities, only virgin copper that does not contain any recycled copper is used, even among oxygen-free copper that complies with JIS C1011. Peeling processing is applied to remove 100% of impurities that have adhered to the surface.
To ensure smoother flow of electrical signals on the surface of the conductor, the wire is thinned using a natural diamond die, improving the surface smoothness of the wire.
This is a wire that has been thinned with a processing precision of ±1 μm, which far exceeds the standard error tolerance of ±8 μm.

The patented 3E twisting process twists together wires of three different thicknesses, resulting in the world's first high-density, different-diameter conductor 3E twist structure (patented by Sanshu Electric Wire). This increases the density and roundness of the wire, stabilizing electrical properties. Two annealing processes eliminate mechanical stress distortion of the wire. The 3E twist structure is a bundled stranded conductor with a concentric twist arrangement, and by arranging three different wire diameters, the twist arrangement is made more precise and the conductor characteristics are improved.These three different conductor diameter wires are arranged geometrically, minimizing the gaps between the wires and improving the wire density.

Furthermore, the outer diameter of the twisted wire is kept stable and highly accurate, and the cross section after twisting is a perfect circle, making it a conductor structure that is unparalleled in the world. This allows the insulator and conductor to adhere evenly, eliminating random thickness of the insulation material and making it uniform, thereby stabilizing electrical characteristics, etc.

Oyaide Electric's unique cross-insulated structure (CIS structure) uses an air layer as a damper, lowering capacitance and improving high-frequency characteristics while attenuating vibrations with its excellent stabilizer effect. The CIS structure supports the center conductor at a point rather than a surface, minimizing mutual interference between the center conductor and the outside world.

The CIS structure not only provides excellent stabilization, but also contributes greatly to improved electrical characteristics. The air gap is highly effective in significantly reducing capacitance. The insulating material that makes up the CIS structure is made of high-molecular-weight polyolefin, which has an extremely low dielectric constant - 1/4 that of commonly used PVC. The exterior sheath is a halogen-free sheath developed specifically for audio applications by Furukawa Electric. Its high vibration-damping properties and improved electrical characteristics enable lossless bass reproduction.

Newly adopted Oyaide's original SGSL pure silver plated base + thick 24K gold plated Y lug

A total of eight locations on both the left and right terminals are fitted with Oyaide Electric's newly developed SGSL pure silver-plated Y-lugs with thick 24K gold plating for speaker terminal connection. SGSL takes advantage of the long-term stability and smooth phase characteristics of the midrange that the gold plating provides, while the silver plating on the base extends the high-frequency range, resulting in exquisite tuning.

The base material is lead- and iron-free, RoHS-compliant brass, made in Japan. The tip is rolled from a 15mm diameter round bar, then punched and bent using a special mold. The tip insertion section has two sections, 6mm and 8mm, to fit a wide range of speaker terminals.

The heat-treated body is mechanically barrel-polished, then individually buffed by hand by a polishing craftsman. Once polished to perfection, the body is then finished with a two-layer plating of pure silver base and thick 24K gold plating.

A 5mm diameter high-rigidity stainless steel set screw is used for the 4mm diameter cable entry section. This eliminates any gap between the body and the screw, and the cable and plug body are securely connected and fixed by two screws.
The SGSL and cable are joined using torque-controlled screws, and the plug and cable are completely sealed with a heat-shrinkable tube made of cross-linked polyolefin with adhesive, which provides durability, prevents oxidation of the conductor, and has excellent gas barrier properties.
Equipped with the innovative non-magnetic noise suppression tape NRF-005T, which suppresses noise inherent in speaker cables.

Speaker cables are susceptible to electric field noise due to floating electrostatic capacitance between the conductors. The NRF-005T is an innovative non-magnetic noise suppression tape developed using PULSHUTR, developed by Asahi Kasei Corporation. PULSHUTR suppresses electric field noise by converting it into Joule heat, while having almost no effect on the original sound. Tuning with the NRF-005T achieves a balance between musical dynamism and fidelity to the original sound, unlike anything before.

When tuning, the NRF-005T is attached to the cable branching point on the speaker side to determine the sound, so when installing the cable, be sure to connect it so that the signal flows in the direction of the arrow printed on the surface of the cable.
