Description
The Super Badass Dynamic OD, a new addition to the MXR Super Badass series, is an overdrive pedal that enhances the sound's contours without compromising the original tone of your guitar sound.
A MOSFET, which is said to have characteristics similar to those of a vacuum tube, is used for clipping, allowing for a wide range of sound creation, from clean boost to overdrive reminiscent of vintage amplifiers.
In addition to the three knobs for OUTPUT, TONE, and GAIN, the EQ also includes a BOOST/CUT switch, which allows you to increase or decrease the overall level by adding midrange. This allows you to increase the volume while maintaining the three-dimensional sound when playing leads, or obtain a sound with good separation that responds to the volume and dynamics of your playing.
Whether used as a standalone pedal or as a boost that takes advantage of the characteristics of a vacuum tube amp, the racing car-inspired chassis design will accelerate your guitar sound.
