Description

A chorus that creates a natural effect sound and enhances the sound with an exquisite mix of the original sound!

Aguilar is a brand that has a reputation for its high-quality amplifiers and inboard preamps, and continues to attract the attention of many musicians both in Japan and overseas. Now, Aguilar has released a chorus pedal. This high-quality pedal, which utilizes the company's accumulated know-how, is definitely worth checking out.

The CHORUSAURUS combines analog bucket brigade technology with the precision and flexibility of modern circuits to create deep, full-bodied chorus effects without sacrificing low end. Intuitive, easy-to-use controls allow bassists to dial in the perfect chorus effect, while retaining the naturalness of the original.

While retaining the inherent range of the instrument, the Aguilar product delivers a naturally (softly) enhanced sound, particularly in the low-mid range. It also retains the distinctive character of Aguilar products. The extremely natural knob response, a hallmark of the brand, allows for delicate control. It suppresses the tight, buffered feel and the resulting hardness and inorganic character often found in traditional pedal-type choruses, outputting a firm, thick, and moderately crisp, mild chorus tone, allowing for more subtle sound creation.

The BLEND knob is centered around 12 o'clock, and you can intuitively control it by turning it counterclockwise to increase the chorus volume and clockwise to increase the original volume (note that even if you turn both knobs all the way up, the individual tones will not disappear), and the independent INTENSITY control of the strength of the chorus sound effect is intuitive, but if you control it with the above-mentioned characteristics in mind, you will be able to operate it even more intuitively. This is a natural-feeling chorus pedal that is particularly recommended for passive bass users who value the sound of the bass itself.

*Please note that for bassists who use active basses and actively use EQ, or for bassists who use active humbucker basses, if you use this model with some power patch bays that have built-in transformers or switching AC adapters, the original sound and chorus sound may become clipped and driven. We recommend that you try out the model with your own equipment. (Please be especially careful if your system has a power supply that can take AC power in addition to AC/DC.)
