"KOSULI BREAKS" is a purely domestic battle breaks album that brings together some of Japan's finest turntablist stars, illuminating the future of the DJ scene!
The 27 skipless tracks, all set at a BPM of 133.33, are based on the concept of "Japan" and are easy for beginners to follow. They are filled with a shining light that brings hope to a troubled world. The tracks are packed with sounds that evoke "Japanese" culture, and include a wealth of globally popular Japanese words such as "samurai" and "ninja," making this a hot topic not only in Japan but overseas as well.
Producer KOSULIST-J, representative of KOSULI / Friction, said, "We explained the concept was Japanese, and then we let each artist create freely. Although we are in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the various thoughts of the artists were put into sound and came together, and I think the result is Battle Breaks, which will give hope for the future. I hope that KOSULI BREAKS will help raise the level of the turntablism scene."
KOSULI is an original Japanese word that means scratching, one of the DJ techniques.
This brand was born to create new impact on the world by bringing thoughts and emotions together to create passion and take action.
For all cosplayers.
Manufactured & Distributed by stokyo Co., Ltd. & Suri / KOSULI Records
