Description
Description
Artist Concept Models feature original and innovative sounds created by MEINL artists and the research and development team.
~Crasher Hats 6/6~
In addition to the existing 8-inch size, Crusher Hats now also introduces a smaller 6-inch size. This produces a very delicate, high-pitched hi-hat sound, with a trashy yet mellow shake sound that will complement a wide range of setups.
"I wanted something very dynamic, with a super short, dry and clear high end, but also able to act as a whispering shaker in the music. Models with that kind of character are hard to come by! So I had to create something completely unique. It's four cymbals sandwiched together, with different shoulders so they crush against each other with each hit. The result is an incredible sound. It blends beautifully with ghost notes and other subdivisions, and also makes a percussive statement - a very unique sound. It's part of my sound, and I love it!" - Benny Greb
