★Four classic mic preamps in one
The 4081 Quad Mic Preamp builds on the incredible success of the 1081 and 1081R modules, offering powerful control and legendary Neve sound.
All 4081 functions can be controlled directly from the front panel or remotely using a Mac or PC with Neve Remote Control software, providing a simple and elegant solution for users of ProTools, Nuendo, Cubase and similar DAW systems. Multiple 4081 units can be linked to create up to 64 channels of independent mic preamps or line-level inputs, all controlled from a single computer.
Also, with version 2.00 software, metering information is displayed within the Remote Mic Control window and is transferred from the 4081 unit to the Remote Mic Control software running on the computer being used for remote control.
Upgrade Options: An optional digital card allows for 4-channel A/D conversion to AES or FireWire via the FireWire/AES interface. Insert points are provided before each channel's A/D converter, allowing external analog outboard equipment to be switched into the signal path. 4-channel AES-to-analog and FireWire-to-analog conversion is also available.
A 19-inch rack mount kit is also available, allowing one or two 4081s to be securely mounted in a 19-inch rack enclosure.
