KHAN VTDI - Introducing the RED model of this tube DI, which delivers the ideal sound image.
The low frequencies produced by bass guitars, keyboards, etc. in an ensemble can easily get lost in the ensemble, and increasing the sound pressure to emphasize their presence can disrupt the balance of the ensemble itself, resulting in a situation where the bass becomes too loud.
Tube DIs add just the right amount of saturation to your sound, bringing out its overwhelming presence in an ensemble. The design concept of this DI was to restore the power of instruments lost in today's ensembles, where digital devices account for the majority of sound sources. The Ampeg SVT-DI was synonymous with tube DIs for bass. Obeid Khan, who was involved in its development, helped create the ideal sound.

The Khan Audio VTDI is a tube direct box that allows you to tailor the tone of various instruments to your ideal sound using the 12AU7.
The 2.2M Ohm high-impedance input transmits the full tone of a variety of instruments, including piezo pickups, passive and active bass guitars, acoustic instruments, keyboards, synth modules, and more.
Power supply.
The high-voltage power supply with a power transformer maximizes the potential of the 12AU7 vacuum tube. DC filament power supply to the vacuum tube and power supply filtering help to minimize the effects of noise and hum.
Specially designed transformer.
The custom-made transformer transmits your instrument's signal flawlessly to mixers, mic preamps, and other devices requiring balanced XLR inputs.
Equipped with THRU OUT.
The signal passed through the vacuum tube can also be used as a line driver to send to an amplifier.
Passive DI
In the event of a sudden power outage, it automatically functions as a passive DI.
*When functioning as a passive DI, the signal does not pass through a vacuum tube.
