Description
Description
Main features of PEC-4V
The VITALIZER input reduces signal impedance, ensuring stable sound quality even in a variety of routing situations.
●The four DC9V output terminals (total 400mA) are equipped with the high-quality DC power supply Provolt9.
The compact body measures 290mm wide x 70mm deep and is equipped with four effect loops (3 series connection loops + 1 separate loop).
Up to four combinations of the four effect loops can be programmed and easily recalled (in Program mode).
●The four effect loops can be turned on/off individually (in Direct Access mode).
Easy-to-step foot switch spacing of 80mm
Uses highly visible LED lenses and ultra-bright LEDs
More about PEC-4V
VZ IN (Vitalizer Input)
By passing it through the Vitalizer circuit, weak guitar or bass signals are converted into strong, distortion-resistant signals (the signal level remains unchanged).
IN (input)
To use effects such as FUZZ that change dramatically when connected after being passed through a Vitalizer to lower the impedance, please connect them to the IN terminal which does not pass through the Vitalizer circuit.
Series Connection Loops The signal flow from loop 1 to loop 3 is connected in series.
Each loop uses a high-quality mechanical relay for signal switching. When the loop is turned off, the SEND output is muted, preventing oscillation caused by crosstalk that can easily occur when connecting high-gain effects.
Separate Loop Loop 4 is a completely independent loop. This loop has a SEND jack.
The NC (normally closed) control terminal and the OUT jack are NO (normally open) control terminals, allowing them to be used for controlling amplifier channel switching, etc. A variety of connection methods are possible, such as setting it as a mute loop or for A/B OUT switching. Furthermore, if the three series connection loops are not enough, you can connect the IN jack and OUT jack of the separate loop to use it as a fourth effects loop.
VZ THRU (Vitalizer Thru)
The signal input from the Vitalizer Input or Input is always output from the Vitalizer Thru, so you can tune while you play. This circuit is separated from the main signal line by the Vitalizer circuit, so even if the cable to the tuner shorts out or the tuner breaks down, the effects are less likely to reach the main signal line.
DC9V output/Provolt9
The PEC-4V features four 9V DC outputs, each capable of supplying up to 100mA. Each DC output has a built-in short-circuit protection circuit, so even if one output shorts, the other outputs will not be affected. Furthermore, if an output returns to normal after a short, the auto-recovery function automatically restores the DC output. Each DC output on the Provolt9 features double filtering to provide an extremely clean power supply.
A clean power supply is essential for achieving high quality sound.
