Description

The CRUNCHY CHIME is a booster with an equalizer function. Its most notable feature is its harmonic content. The boost circuit that produces these rich harmonics was born from research into the harmonic content of vintage guitars and amplifiers. One of the attractions of vintage instruments is their rich, brilliant harmonics. After extensive experimentation and testing, we perfected this boost circuit to uncover the secret behind these pleasant harmonics that don't hurt your ears. You'll feel the vibration of the strings more clearly, bringing your guitar or bass sound to life.

Amplifier characteristics vary depending on the product, and problems can arise, such as "turning on a booster makes the low-frequency sound muddy." During the development stage, we found that these rich harmonics could become muddy depending on the amplifier used, or unnecessary harmonic components could be emphasized, resulting in a harsh sound. In order to get closer to the ideal sound, we wanted to adjust the frequency characteristics to match these equipment. The newly designed equalizer for this purpose produces a sound so natural that even when adjusting the tone by boosting or cutting, it's hard to tell that an equalizer is being used. The response is flat when the TREBLE and BASS knobs are at the 12 o'clock position.
There is also a mode switch for the equalizer's BASS that allows you to select the frequency, which is useful for adjusting the low frequencies of 7-string guitars and basses.

The CRUNCHY CHIME is a booster with an equalizer born from a new concept, greatly expanding the sound variations of guitar and bass, providing more fun for playing and creating sounds.

Features: Equipped with a MODE switch that allows you to select the BASS boost/cut frequency band.
- The newly designed equalizer circuit produces a natural sound.
-When used to cut both TREBLE and BASS, it can be used as a mid-booster.
- The boost circuit for adjusting the volume can be adjusted from -16dB to a maximum of +17dB.
- Equipped with an HTS (Holistic Tonal Solution) circuit. Unlike conventional buffer circuits, the HTS circuit converts impedance while bringing out the full potential of the guitar or bass's sound characteristics, achieving both high sound quality and low noise. This HTS circuit prevents deterioration of the guitar or bass sound even when the effect is turned off.
- The output signal is in phase with the input signal, so there is no need to worry about phase inversion.
