It is a type of buffer that converts high-impedance electrical signals from guitars, basses, etc. into low-impedance signals that are less susceptible to noise, suppressing changes in sound quality and outputting a lively signal.
●VITALIZER(R)
VITALIZER(R) is a type of buffer amplifier that converts high-impedance electrical signals, which are susceptible to noise and sound quality changes caused by plug/jack contacts and long cables, into low-impedance signals that are less susceptible to such effects. It is an Active Impedance Converter that incorporates Providence's unique design, taking into account the signal characteristics of instruments such as guitars/basses and effects pedals, and deliberately avoids becoming too Hi-Fi. It outputs a natural signal that minimizes the so-called active feel, and is as faithful as possible to the original sound of the instrument.
●Effective use It is said that when a high-impedance signal is input to a wah pedal or volume pedal, the sound quality is easily degraded or changed.
VITALIZER(R) is particularly effective when used in places where you want to minimize such changes in sound quality. By inputting the low-impedance signal output from the VITALIZER(R) WV into a wah pedal or volume pedal, you can control the signal with the pedal while minimizing distortion and maintaining a lively signal.
It can also be used in a variety of other ways, such as at the point closest to the guitar or as the final stage in the system that sends the signal to the amplifier.
Compact size: Designed to be placed next to larger wah and volume pedals, the unit's functions are unified into a compact 60 x 73 mm size. It also takes up minimal space when installed on a pedal board, helping to improve sound quality.
To make the unit more compact, we've omitted the battery space. When using a battery, connect the included outer battery box to the DC9V input jack. It can also be used with an AC adapter or power supply.
