Carbon's hybrid engine maximizes Pro Tools performance, eliminating the need for other products and apps that can sometimes be complex to use. All AAX DSP plug-ins are also native, allowing you to seamlessly move between the two worlds with the push of a button. While recording, simply switch a track to DSP mode, and Carbon switches to low-latency, real-time AAX DSP plug-ins, while the CPU handles the rest of the mix. Once recording is complete, simply switch the track back to native mode, and Pro Tools will automatically handle the technical tasks, freeing up your CPU host's power for mixing.
