The CR-X series significantly improves thermal efficiency by incorporating a Class D power amplifier driven by PWM (pulse width modulation).
In addition, by reducing the load on the power amplifier board caused by heat, the failure rate is reduced, and by controlling the output power, efficiency and sound quality are improved compared to the previous model (CR series) which used a class AB amplifier.

However, due to the specifications of products that use this power amplifier, a certain amount of slight harmonic noise will inevitably be generated.
To improve these issues, a noise filter would need to be installed inside the amplifier, but the cost of the CR-X series does not allow for the implementation of such a filter.
The design is such that it is barely noticeable when music is playing, but please turn off the volume on the front panel after music playback has finished.

The CR-X with the amplifier is equipped with a knob that allows for instant volume adjustment. The rear panel also features an L/R speaker selector switch that allows you to place the amplifier/volume control speaker on either the left or right side. This allows you to place the CR-X with the amplifier near a power outlet or on the side that is easiest to operate.

*The power cannot be completely turned off using the volume knob on the front. Turning off the main power switch on the back will extend the product's lifespan. If you will not be using the product for an extended period of time, please turn off the power switch on the back.

◎Compatible with various audio sources The standard model is equipped with standard phone, RCA, and stereo mini AUX inputs. In addition, the CR-XBT series also supports Bluetooth wireless streaming.

Do you want to listen through headphones? Enjoy music late at night, or mix through headphones. The CR-X is equipped with a headphone output jack at the bottom of the front panel. When headphones are connected, the speaker output is automatically turned off, and the front volume control knob instantly switches to the headphone volume control knob.
