---------------------------
I, Valtor Menk, am an artist with 30 years of experience as a drummer. In the past, I performed in a variety of settings, including live music venues, festivals, studios, and theaters, and frequently used rods. However, I was troubled by their higher price point and faster wear than regular drumsticks. Then, I discovered "Carbon Rods," a carbon rod from a manufacturer called Carbostick. To my surprise, these carbon rods had clear grain and a comfortable rebound, perfectly matching my playing style. While my drumsticks had often broken within four hours, my carbon sticks lasted for 40 hours.
However, in 2014, carbon drumsticks suddenly disappeared from stores. I researched this and learned about Peter Kuppers, the inventor of carbon drumsticks who lives in Germany. I went to meet Peter in person and learned that he had closed his company for personal reasons. After meeting Peter and talking about music and drumming, we hit it off and decided to restart production as Kuppmen, which is how we brought carbon drumsticks back to the market and have continued to do so to this day.
We have seen many drummers who have been impressed by using these sticks in the past. Our dream is for kuppmen carbon sticks to be used by drummers all over the world.
---------------------------
These drumsticks have the same specifications as regular hickory drumsticks in terms of shape, size, weight, and rebound, but are also extremely durable and dynamic. Carbon drumsticks are typically heavier than hickory due to the material used, but these carbon drumsticks have been made lighter by making the inside of the stick hollow. These carbon drumsticks are highly recommended for drummers who want lightweight, durable, and dynamic drumsticks.
