★"RP -Regular Phase-" headphones continue to be used as reference headphones in studios around the world.
■Features●Equipped with our original RP diaphragm, which is made of a highly heat-resistant polyimide film base with copper foil etching.
As its name suggests, the T50RPmk3n uses a planar diaphragm with a Regular Phase (RP) system, which is not a typical dynamic type. It further evolves the sound that is unique to planar diaphragms, setting it apart from conventional dynamic types, and delivers a one-of-a-kind RP sound.
●Magnetic circuit
A major feature of the RP-type magnetic circuit is that it obtains a large effective magnetic flux density by repelling the upper and lower magnets, and sandwiches the diaphragm between them. This makes it possible for the RP-type magnetic circuit to obtain a symmetrical magnetic flux density distribution in the direction of the diaphragm's vibration, and it has succeeded in achieving overwhelming linearity. In addition, by using a rod-shaped neodymium magnet, it has succeeded in obtaining a larger magnetic flux density and significantly improving efficiency.
●With a wide playback range, excellent transient characteristics, and high input resistance of up to 3,000mW, it can easily handle a variety of music sources.
The zigzag printed coil (equivalent to a voice coil) pattern ensures uniform vertical and horizontal movement (no wobble), resulting in increased information content, particularly in the mid-to-high range, and exceptional vocal realism. The use of copper foil for the printed coil material achieves high input resistance and further improves sound quality. The use of polyimide, a highly heat-resistant material, for the base film achieves the high input resistance essential for professional headphones.
High-quality low-resilience ear pads are used, providing a soft fit and allowing for comfortable monitoring even when used for long periods of time.
The headphones feature high-quality ear pads made from low-resilience urethane, allowing for stress-free monitoring during long periods of recording, mastering, and other such tasks.
