Description

Mikio Fujioka Model

Introducing the signature model "ESP SNAPPER Fujioka Custom" used by guitar hero Mikio Fujioka, who has been active in many fields, including supporting many artists including BABYMETAL, writing instructional books, teaching at MI JAPAN, and playing in his own band, inspiring and inspiring many guitarists!

The alder body features a detachable hard maple neck. The newly developed T-5 Ultimate Access joint ensures smooth, stress-free playability. The frets are made by Jescar, renowned for their high precision. The bridge is equipped with an ESP Flicker III. While it doesn't have a locking tremolo, the GOTOH MG-T tuning machines ensure stable pitch. The pickups are passive Seymour Duncan SH-1 The '59 and SH-4 JB humbuckers, along with an SSL52-1 Five-Two Strat pickup. The SH-1 The '59 in the neck position can be switched to coil-split mode with a mini-switch, which automatically shifts the tone to coil-split mode.

"What I wanted from this guitar was the organic feel inherent in the Snapper, and the versatility to handle a variety of genres. In particular, the choice and arrangement of the pickups is excellent (I'm bragging). The arrangement is all-purpose, from expressing just the right amount of roughness with the humbucking pickups to a perfect, unaffected single-coil sound with the single-coil pickups. Being able to switch to single-coil mode with a single switch is an essential item for me, just like the 7-string model. Also, by using the ESP flicker bridge and locking pegs together, I can achieve smooth arm movements with little tuning deviation." - Mikio Fujioka
