Description
The guitaRF is a hardware unit that functions as a reflection filter, an isolator, and a double microphone stand, allowing you to simultaneously position your favorite large-diaphragm condenser or ribbon microphone and a dynamic microphone (or a small-diaphragm condenser microphone such as the sE5).
This allows you to get the most out of two microphones without worrying about phase issues, which will be a great help in getting the sound you want.
Many PA engineers know that placing a reflection filter in front of an amplifier cabinet can reduce unwanted diffraction and interference on microphones, which is particularly effective for ribbon microphones with open figure-8 response, such as the VR1 and RNR1.
Using reflection filters on guitar/bass amps, drums, etc. makes multi-track mixing for live shows much easier - it's the best solution available today for getting the sound you want in a simple way.
Of course, guitarRF isn't just for the stage. Like other reflection filter models, it allows you to approach professional studio quality in your home recording environment.
