Instead of the Texasium found in the previous model, the STB-MS, the new model employs carbon FRP on the top and bottom discs. The carbon FRP's superior vibration management further improves sound quality. The four composite materials—A5052 aluminum alloy top and bottom discs, chrome-plated brass weights, EPDM rubber weight spacers that convert vibrations into thermal energy, and the carbon FRP—disperse vibration modes and eliminate unwanted vibrations that interfere with analog playback, bringing out the dynamism of music. The previous model retains its distinctive features: detachable weights for variable mass, sound quality tuning with the STB-CM carbon FRP weight, and EP adapter functionality. The stylish exterior is meticulously designed to fit comfortably in your hand, ensuring secure and safe placement on your records.
