Description
★This RCA plug uses 4N pure silver generously in the center pin to minimize transmission loss. We believe that not only the cable itself but also the contact points at the entrance and exit are of the highest quality. While it's often thought that audio cable quality is determined by the quality of the cable alone, the quality of the plug also plays a major role. In creating the Straight Line series, we also created dedicated RCA plugs. It's no exaggeration to say that these are specially made RCA plugs, a world first, using 4N pure silver in the center pin. These RCA plugs are not designed to simply connect, but rather to deliver the highest quality sound possible with minimal loss.
■Outer wall
The outer shell is individually machined from a brass rod using NC machining and is plated with beryllium chrome.
■Center Contact The center conductor (contact pin) is machined from a 4mm diameter 4N pure silver rod. Silver has higher conductivity than copper, resulting in extremely low transmission loss, low distortion, and high-information-content sound.
■Insulator: PTFE is used for the insulator, which has a low dielectric constant and the lowest insulation resistance of any insulating material.
