What is a guitar sound? What is a bass sound? What is sound? Barbarossa was born from the concept of thoroughly pursuing the "expressive power" that is required when pursuing these questions.
In order to maximize the emotional expression desired by players, the products are made using a variety of materials and technological know-how.
The final sound judgment is made by professional artists, semi-professionals, and discerning players through blind tests (performance listening).
You will be able to select a true sound that is completely free of compromise.
The BR-CB150 is the entry model in the lineup.
It is produced with a particular focus on bass and acoustic instruments.
Although it is an entry-level model, it incorporates the same know-how as our higher-end models, such as cryogenic treatment and special polymer protection inside the plug!
Another great feature is that the cable is very flexible and easy to handle.
■Plug contact processing By applying solder to the crimped part of the Switchcraft plug, we have improved the contact, durability, and conductivity.
■ Cryogenic processing: Through our partnership with one of Japan's leading metals companies with leading technical capabilities, we provide safe, high-quality cryogenic processing.
Improving the harmonic components gives the sound a sense of depth and three-dimensionality.
It has a clear sound with a core, and each chord is clearly expressed, resulting in a very balanced sound.
■Polymer processing inside the plug prevents oxidation of the solder and wire inside the plug.
■Plug cap protection Prevents the plug from loosening and also prevents oxidation by blocking the inside from the outside air.
It also absorbs shock if the plug is dropped, making it highly durable.
■Cable wire sheath protection: To make the cable more durable, polyester monofilament is used, which is highly abrasion-resistant and flexible.
■Cable meter recognition label The cable length is displayed clearly at a glance.
■Direction and part number visual label You can check the cable connection destination and part number at a glance.
