The Jagstang has made a comeback, now made in Mexico! This is a beautiful, pre-owned 2021 model that we have in stock!

Few artists in music history have been able to transform an industry overnight and continue to influence music culture 30 years after their peak popularity. Kurt Cobain and the members of Nirvana emerged in the early 1990s as brilliant artists who transcended generations. Their sound, a combination of raw, heavy tones, punk-like energy, and melodic catchiness, quickly captivated millions of fans and miraculously propelled grunge and alternative rock into the mainstream music scene.

Kurt Cobain has used many Fender guitars over the years, but the Jaguar and Mustang guitars he used on the Nevermind tour and in the music video for Smells Like Teen Spirit are perhaps the most iconic and widely recognized. Kurt combined his favorite elements from these two instruments to design the Jag-Stang, which was brought to life in 1993 with the help of the Fender Custom Shop.

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Nirvana's masterpiece, "Nevermind," the Jag-Stang guitar that Kurt Cobain envisioned has arrived. The alder body, which produces a punchy tone perfect for powerful power chords, features a 24-inch short scale design that reduces string tension for easy playability, while the maple neck with a 7.25-inch radius rosewood fingerboard ensures comfortable chord playing. Vintage-style single-coil and custom humbucker pickups recreate Kurt's classic tone. The Mustang slider switch offers the flexibility of adjusting four different settings with a dial, providing a variety of in/out phase tones.

While there are some minor scratches and slight tarnishing on the parts, there are no deep scratches that detract from its appearance, and it can be considered to be in generally excellent condition. Of course, there are no issues with playability, including the neck and electronics, so you can welcome this instrument into your home and enjoy it for many years to come. This is an item that comes in very rarely, so don't miss this opportunity!

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
