Description
A great deal on a used 2010 Memphis ES-335 has arrived!
This is an "ES-335 Dot Reissue" model produced at the Memphis line.
Born in the late 1950s, the Gibson ES-335 is a traditional semi-acoustic guitar that combines the traditional hollow-body resonance of a semi-acoustic with the extended sustain of a solid-body guitar. It features a groundbreaking thin-body hollow-body style with a center block, which was innovative for its time!
The ES-335 is a guitar that combines a bluesy and mature feel, but it's also a versatile and versatile instrument that can handle clean and crunch tones as well as high-gain distortion! It's recommended not only for blues and jazz but also for playing rock sounds to your heart's content.
It features a laminated body made of maple/poplar/maple, a mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.
Compared to the Rounded C Profile neck shape of recent ES-335 Dot models, the neck shape is thicker on both sides, giving it more of a rounded D-shape than a C-shape. It's not thin, but it's not difficult to play, and you can feel the deep resonance of the neck while playing.
The pickup selected is the ever-popular '57 Classic Humbucker, which delivers the classic, dynamic Gibson sound. The '57 Classic is a pickup that Ginson created in the 1990s with the aim of replicating the PAF sound, and it remains highly popular today, earning a reputation among musicians for its ease of use.
In terms of hardware, it features Grover tuners. The finish is a clear lacquer.
This particular instrument has been repaired at our affiliated workshop, including neck repair and fret leveling. However, it shows signs of wear commensurate with its age, such as scratches, dents, and tarnishing on the metal parts.
There are no problems with the electrical system or the operation of the truss rods.
