Description

Recommended used items!
A Fender Made in Japan Hybrid 50s Stratocaster, a model no longer in production, has arrived as a recommended used item! It was manufactured in 2017.
This pen features a striking Fiesta Red color!

The Hybrid 50s Stratocaster is a player-friendly instrument that harmonizes the classic look of a Fender model with modern specifications. It features a renowned alder body equipped with Vintage US pickups, a 5-way switch, a 2-point tremolo system with vintage-style saddles, a satin-finish neck, vintage locking tuners, and medium jumbo frets with a 250mm radius, providing smooth playability and feel.

Since 2021, the Hybrid II Stratocaster has undergone minor changes, resulting in a more modern and user-friendly design.
However, the Hybrid 50s Stratocaster also offers significantly better playability compared to the traditional Stratocaster, making both models equally appealing.

[Specifications Comparison]
■Hybrid Stratocaster (circa 2017-2020)
Neck Shape: U Shape
Number of Frets: 21
• Fret Size: Medium Jumbo
・Nut Width: 1.675″ (42.5 mm)
・Fingerboard Radius: 9.84 (250 mm)
・Truss rod access: Headstock
・Pickups: Fender USA Vintage Stratocaster
・Controls: Master Volume, Tone 1. (Neck Pickup), Tone 2. (Middle Pickup)

■Hybrid II Stratocaster (2021?)
Neck Shape: Modern C
Number of Frets: 22
Fret Size: Narrow Tall
Nut Width: 1.650 (42.0 mm)
・Fingerboard Radius: 9.5 (241 mm)
・Truss rod access: Neck heel
・Pickups: Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil Stratocaster
・Controls: Master Volume, Tone 1. (Neck Pickup), Tone 2. (Bridge/Middle Pickup)

The neck profile is slightly thicker than the Hybrid II Stratocaster, but not excessively so. However, it has a "U" shape with slightly thicker sides, rather than the thinner, easier-to-grip "Modern C" shape.
The nut width is also slightly wider on the Hybrid Stratocaster, at approximately 42.5 mm compared to approximately 42.0 mm on the Hybrid II Stratocaster.
The radius of the Hybrid II Stratocaster is 9.5R, but the Hybrid Stratocaster has a radius of 9.84R, making it slightly flatter.
The Hybrid II Stratocaster has Narrow Tall frets, which are thin and tall, while the Hybrid Stratocaster has Medium Jumbo frets, which are slightly thicker.
Also, the Hybrid Stratocaster has 21 frets, the same as the classic Fender Stratocaster.
The Hybrid II Stratocaster features a 22-fret design with an extended fretboard. Regarding neck adjustments, while the Hybrid Stratocaster requires removing the neck from the body to adjust the truss rod (neck curvature), the Hybrid II allows adjustment directly from the headstock using an Allen wrench. Furthermore, the Hybrid Stratocaster tends to have a thicker neck resonance due to its thicker neck.

Regarding the pickups, the Hybrid Stratocaster is equipped with Fender USA Vintage Stratocaster Pickups, which are characterized by a bright, vintage-influenced tone. On the other hand, the Hybrid II employs a newly developed "Custom Voiced Single Coil" pickup. It has a well-balanced output, responds well to effects pedals, and has a more modern, neutral sound.
Furthermore, regarding the tone circuit, the Hybrid Stratocaster, like the traditional classic Stratocaster, does not have a tone control on the bridge pickup, but the Hybrid II has been modified so that the tone control works on the bridge pickup as well.

If you prefer a thicker neck and enjoy the sharp tone of vintage-style USA-made pickups, the Hybrid Stratocaster is highly recommended.

If you want to use all 22 frets, want easy neck adjustments, and want a guitar that's easy to play and has a versatile sound that suits any genre, then the Hybrid II Stratocaster is highly recommended.

However, the Hybrid Stratocaster is no longer in production, so the only way to find one now is to look for a used one.

We've just received a recommended used Hybrid Stratocaster! It's a 2017 model.
There are some minor scratches throughout, small paint stains, scratches on the pickguard, small paint indentations on the body top and back from the original construction, paint thinning, and tarnishing of the parts, but none of these affect playability.
This item has undergone full maintenance and cleaning at our shop, so it is ready to use immediately.

The frets are in good working order and have almost all of their life remaining. The nut is also in good working order and the truss rod can be adjusted normally.

The electrical system has also been fully checked, so there are no problems with its operation.

The weight is approximately 3.29 kg. It's lightweight and has a well-balanced design that makes it easy to use.

Accessories include the original soft case and tremolo arm.

Don't miss this opportunity!
