MIKRO uses 16 pads and offers four ways to control it hands-on. Pad mode is dedicated to drum beats, with each pad color-coded according to kick, snare, and other sounds. Keyboard mode lets you play melodies on the pads. Chord mode makes it easy to create exciting chord progressions. And Step mode uses the 16 pads as a step sequencer, allowing you to visually program beats and patterns and get quick and exciting results.

Discover, audition, and swap sounds without stopping the music. Browse your favorite instruments and load samples, projects, and kits. The compact screen works in conjunction with a multi-function encoder, so you can stay in your production flow and know exactly what you're controlling.

■SAMPLE ANY SOUND
Once you find a good sample, you can quickly load it into your project from the software by pressing the Sample button. Import vinyl, guitar, and other sounds into your tracks via your audio interface, and then refine your samples with MASCHINE software's powerful editing tools.

■PLAY WITH SOUNDS IN NEW WAYS
Get creative with beats and melodies using Smart Strip. Slide your finger to pitch bend sounds, strum instruments, or unleash wild performances with Perform FX like Stutter and Echo.
