Based on a '62 style Telecaster Custom, this guitar features a bound body and rosewood fingerboard, showcasing the high level of craftsmanship typical of Fender Japan at the time. Equipped with Fender Japan Vintage Pickups, it delivers a wide range of tones, from thick, warm, and glossy clean tones to crisp, punchy, and classic Telecaster tones. Despite its simple 3-way switch wiring, it boasts a highly versatile sound suitable for any genre.

Fender Japan guitars from the mid-1980s are gaining renewed appreciation both domestically and internationally, thanks to their high-precision woodworking, consistent neck quality, and vintage feel that's absent in current models. The balanced resonance characteristic of a basswood body and the manageable weight of approximately 3.76kg are also key features.

This particular instrument has age-appropriate wear and tear, including scratches, dents, and tarnishing and rust on the hardware parts. The body also shows some discoloration, making it a player's condition instrument commensurate with its age. The frets have approximately 70% of their height remaining, and there are no issues with the neck condition or other electronic components, so please consider this opportunity!

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
