New BTB model with Light Multi Scale specifications

The Ibanez BTB Boutique Bass is a high-spec bass that also possesses expressive capabilities that stimulate the player's senses. Like the SR series, it is one of Ibanez's most iconic and historic basses. The deep cutaway shape and neck-through construction provide excellent playability and sustain, while the carefully selected tonewoods and independent string bridge construction promise a look and rich tone that embodies the name "Boutique."

■LM (Light Multi Scale)
The 1st string side is 34 inches, the same as a typical bass, while the 5th string side is 35 inches, designed to produce a comfortable Low B. This exquisite 1-inch difference makes it far removed from the playability often associated with multi-scale basses, while still delivering a punchy bass tone that cannot be achieved with long-scale basses. Furthermore, the selection of materials and the craftsmanship reflect the commitment to Boutique Bass, the origin of the BTB name, while aiming for a BTB that is easily accepted by anyone, with a design that is not limited to any scene or genre, and a wide range of sounds. This is a bass that expands the base of multi-scale basses and sets itself apart from conventional BTB models, increasing the options for 5-string basses themselves.

■ 5-piece maple and walnut neck with graphite reinforcement rod. This 5-piece neck combines maple, which provides a clear sound image and rich attack, with hard walnut. The neck is reinforced with a graphite rod installed inside. The back of the neck is colored to match the body, resulting in a uniform finish.

■ The neck-through construction body, 34-35 inch multi-scale through-neck construction, and the long sustain, rich resonance, and seamless playing feel of the neck back are arguably the greatest features of the BTB. The scale is a multi-scale design, with the 5th string being 35 inches and the 1st string being 34 inches. This is a unique design of the BTB LM model that ensures a solid sound even with the thicker gauge bass strings, while minimizing the difference in playing feel compared to a typical long-scale bass.

■Laminated wing body made of flame maple/ash/Okoume wood
This guitar features a flame maple top, each piece displaying a unique appearance, and a wing body constructed by laminating layers of ash and okoume wood.

■ Rosewood fingerboard (with medium stainless steel frets)
This guitar features rosewood, the most popular material for fingerboards, known for its well-balanced sound. The frets are stainless steel, offering a bright tone and high durability.

■Ibanez T1 Pickup: This is an original humbucker with two separate coils, designed to deliver a sound with tight low-end response, punchy mid-range, and clear high-end.

■MR5S Bridge This guitar features an MR5S (monorail) bridge equipped with a string spacing adjustment mechanism. Each string has an independent bridge, directly transmitting string vibrations to the body. In addition, the saddles can be moved 1.5mm to the left and right, allowing you to adjust the space between strings (string spacing) as you like within the movable range.
